Mobile Grooming DOES cost more than a Shop visit.
 WHY?

1.  I come to you.
2. Your pet never has to leave home.
3. Your pet is finished in less time.
4. Less stress for you & your pet.


Size + Service = Price

Here are some examples of size:

  Tiny: easily carried all day in one of those cute over the shoulder bags, tiny and petite.

 Small: Can be carried here and there, but not all day, and won't fit into one of those cute shoulder bags comfortably.

Medium: Can pick up and put on a table, but too big to carry for long, likes to be a lap dog but a little too big.

Large: Can't be picked up easily, takes up the other half of the loveseat while you watch TV. Usually in the 45 - 60lb range. Large pets are a case by case bases, see ** below.

Ex-Large:
Stands on the floor with head in your lap, but you can't see the TV if the dog is IN your lap. Usually over 60lbs. I do not groom these.

Picture: Table as low as it will go & notice dog's rear is squished under the shelf. I found I can't do dog's this big. I want to do the best I can on your dog(s), if the dog is squished & not comfortable it is not nice to the dog, is harder to clean & trim the dog. This is the reason for the size limits listed below. 


 Giant: They ARE the coffee table while you are watching TV. 

As you can see I do him at a boarding kennel. Pictured before the groom. I am 5'3", this dog puts his feet up on his kennel & towers over me. Giants can not fit in the van.

 

* * Due to space & increasing physical limitations (shoulder & back), large pets are a case by case bases, 45 pounds & under. I am ok with doing short haired big dog baths around the 50 lb range if they fit in the tub and are well behaved, good for baths. I do not do the extra large or giant pets. 25 inches Max at shoulder. I don't want dogs uncomfortable on my table. Owner must help lift into Tub with anything over 45lbs to help save groomer's back so I can continue to groom for years to come. Current large dog clients I can still do for now. Contact me for a referral to a mobile that does bigger dogs.

 

Prices are based on dogs groomed at a 2 - 8week schedule. 

Dogs going farther between brushouts, trims & haircuts are subject to additional costs. Matted dogs are charged differently, check out the prices below the paw print prices.

 

 "Bubbles" is bath, dry & brush (no clipping or coat trim), nail trim & ear cleaning. Finished with a bandanna or bow and a spritz of aroma. Ideal for Short and Smooth hair.

Large: $75-$95 
"Bubbles Plus" includes "Bubbles"
plus brushout with very light trim (face, feet & paw-pads, fanny, tail but no full body clipping). Ideal for Long-flowing coats or coats of defined length to create style and beauty.

Toy: $55-$60  
 Small: $55-$65
Med: $75-$85 
Large: $95-$120 
"Basic Haircut" includes "Bubbles"
plus basic short one length full body clipper clip.

 Small: $65-$80
 Med: $80-$95   Large:$100-$125 

"Fluffy Cut" includes "Bubbles" plus fluffy pattern haircut over 1 inch & scissor finish to set style.

"Matted Dog Price" or heavy brush-out.

$10 every 15 minutes of "heavy brush-out or de-matting".

 

"Teeth brushing" now offered for dogs that tolerate it. Groomer discretion.  $6

"Fleas Fee" - More then 4 fleas. $20 per dog (see agreement form for more details)

"Hand Stripping for Terriers" offered for non show dogs that want correct coat texture like a show dog, color richness to the coat & healthier skin. Groomer discretion, some terriers have a terrier attitude towards hand stripping & don't like it. I will do a Pet Hand Strip & do what the dog will tolerate.  $80 an hour, call as more detail is needed. Average grooming takes 1 to 1.5 hours.

? Need a new comb, slicker brush, shedding tools, shampoos, conditioner, de-matting sprays, cologne, flea product? Just ask when you make your appt (incase I need to order more), I keep a few of my favorite items on hand incase you are needing something. Offered only to groom clients.

He had thick packed undercoat, it would have been really hard on the dog to de-matt/de-shed when it was that packed.

Pricing Stipulations...

 1. My prices are based on pets that have healthy coat and skin.


2. Pets with matts, thick undercoat, or packed coats may be charged an additional fee.


3.  Pets with pests (fleas/ticks) will be charged an additional fee for Flea shampoo & van de-flea so other clients don't get fleas. Ticks I will not deal with. Any pets with ticks, grooming will stop & pets will be referred to a vet to deal with.


4. Difficult personalities (pets or parents) will be charged an additional fee :-)


5. Pets that are pre-booked on a set 2,3,4,5,6,7,8 week schedule are considered
"Preferred Clients" and have special considerations. Clients waiting longer the 8 weeks between haircuts or brushouts will be charged differently.


6. Purebred "Breed"  sizing (to AKC/CKC), oversized will be charged accordingly.


7. Overweight or oversized dogs may be charged an additional fee.


8. Refer a friend that books & keeps an appointment, you will get $5 off your dog's next groom. Make sure the friend you are referring mentions your name when they book their appointment so you can get your $5 off.

Prices are subject to change at anytime & are adjusted to what you & the dog's needs are. These are just idea prices, more detailed price quotes are still recommended. Quotes are subject to change upon seeing the dog at the first appointment.

Prices are subject to increase each year, around the first of the year. I have to cover the cost of business, vehicle repairs & bills don't stay the same price from year to year. $2-5 per dog is average. This is done around your first grooming of the New Year once you have been with us for a year. This does not include the extra charges due to matting, behavior or pest control fees.
